Wreath making workshop at Ramels

Merry Christmas my loves.
I hope everyone is having a relaxing and enjoyable time with all their loved ones. Life has been one hectic whirlwind since the last time I posted and I wouldn't change it for the world. It's so funny the things that can happen to you and how quickly everything can happen. I haven't been posting regularly on here but I'm okay with that, my life has taken some unexpected turns and it has made me extra busy and preoccupied, I have however missed jotting down my thoughts and events that have happened to me. Today I wanted to do a little post on a workshop class I took recently that I really loved, I got to make my very own Wreath.

My boyfriends mum Lina, so kindly gave me and Michael a little gift of making our own wreath, this was such a fun activity to see if we could work well together as well as see how creative we could be. The workshop was held in Potters Bar in a florist shop called Ramels, and Mel hosted it. The shop itself was beautifully decorated and as soon as I walked in I was excited to get started and see how much creativity would flow. We went to the back of the shop where there was mulled wine on the go, a table full of snacks ready for everyone and also some people who had already started making theirs.

Cigala - What i thought..

Hello all,
I have had such a busy week, I haven't had time to sit at the laptop for a period of time and actually write up about one of my favourite things, fooooood.
Last week, me and Cat were lucky enough to go to Cigala, a Spanish tapas Restaurant and do a review of the food and the restaurant, this was my first time doing a food review and I was super excited as well as a little anxious as I had no idea what to expect.

Friction Free Shaving - Meet Rose

Hello all, soooo you guys I have to tell you about someone I am loving at the moment, like literally, someone I've been seeing for a few weeks now, her name is Rose and I think I found a perfect match at last.
A few weeks back, Friction Free Shaving contacted me and asked me if I wanted to get to know the newest addition to their collection.. Rose. I was lucky enough to have worked with this brand before and really enjoyed their razors in the past, so I was more then happy to meet the newest addition.

A Gryffindor Haul

Hello all,
Can you guess what my post is about today? I've been busy looking through all my Harry Potter merchandise that I have collected throughout the years. Once I had everything in one place I decided to do a little post on all of it. I had Cat come round today and she helped me by photographing all of these pieces, she also showed me some tricks on how she gets her flat lay images to look so gorgeous. Can you guess what house i belong to?

An immersive night in with some friends

Hello all,
So I've wanted to write this post for a while as it was one of the most fun events I've been to in a while. I was asked by Cat to join her as her plus one to the Curry's PC World & Sony event titled #ImmersiveNightIn. I went along to learn a little more about the new Sony OLED 4K TV.

Money Fit Challenge With Cat

Hello my lovelies,
Last month Cat asked me to join her in a 5K run around Shoreditch Park, seeing as I have been trying to do a little more cardio this year and I had already taken part in a 5k colour run around London. I thought I would join her and have another little experience. The 5k run was a charity run that Giff Gaff Money Fit Challenge had set up, the challenge consisted of 4 laps around the big park with an inflatable obstacle course in the middle to try and manoeuvre through too.

Lake District Photo Diary 2017

Hey there, so I'm back with another travel post.. This time I went off to the Lake District to explore for a few days. I was having a pretty hard time and needed to shut off from the world, so when I got back from Majorca, me and my friend Tiffany, jumped in the car and drove the 5 hours up north to the Lake District where we could both shut off from the rest of the world, and just live. The journey up there was fine, we made 2 pit stops for bathroom breaks and to grab extra junk food and the rest of the trip was pretty smooth sailing.

Majorca Photo Diary 2017

Helloooo, It's been a hot minute since I last blogged, but here I am with a travel post and I cant believe I've left it this long to finally get up. Get ready for a photo heavy post. At the beginning of last month it was my half term and I booked a little 5 day trip to Majorca with my sisters, it could NOT have come at a better time, it was exactly what I needed. After a challenging month of March, I was determined to make April a good month and the meant starting it off on a high and I could not have asked for anything better.

The guys you may date in your 20's

Hello all,
I hope you are all keeping well? Today's post is one that I have wanted to do for a little while. The other day I sat down with my laptop and decided to watch a little bit of Sex and the City, while watching it I realised how much I envied the life those 4 independent and strong women lead. Not just because of all the designer clothes, (although of course I take that into account), but also because they get to live in a city like New York and they have fabulous high flying jobs and live in amazing apartments and lead an altogether pretty damn glamorous life. It got me thinking about my surroundings and what I do. The more I thought about it the more I started to see that I too, am an independent and strong woman and I too live in a vibrant beautiful city, the city of London, and even though my job may not be high flying, it's still a very important role that I play on a day to day basis.

I started thinking about the life these women lead and how they manage to fit in dating in New York, I also started to see that there are types of guys when it comes to dating, based on the show and also based on my own experiences, and then I had my Carrie Bradshaw moment, because I came up with a post I wanted to write all about the different types of guys you may meet when you are dating, especially in your 20s. So, thus we have a dating in the city post I like to call The guys you may date in your 20's.

Why being single on Valentine's Day isn't so bad

Hello all,

Happy February, I hope you have all been keeping well and busy. It is now the beginning of half term for us that work in the education sector, and this means I am so excited, happy and ready to just kick back and relax as well as catch up with lots of different friends. It's also the month in which lots of couples enjoy spreading and celebrating their love. With valentine's day right around the corner I wanted to do a little post on it. I have had a date for the last 8 valentines days and this will be my first year without one, but I have already made some plans for the day and I am so excited to have a little 'me' day and celebrate the love I am learning to show myself daily.

Anxiety Tips & Tricks that work for me

Hello my beauties,

Sooo, I've been wanting to do this post for a while, but I've been holding back a little bit for a number of reasons. One, its quite a personal post to put out there on the net as not everyone knows it, and two.. I kinda feel like 'would anyone actually be interested in reading about this?' But after some more thought I decided that I would do it because.. well why not? and even though I feel like some people might not be interested in reading it, if it DOES help anyone even if it is only one person then I will feel like it's a good thing and I would be proud.

Today I want to talk to you about ANXIETY. Yes, Anxiety.. I said it, its not a bad word, it's not an ugly word, it's just a word.. a word to describe a mental health issue that millions of people are suffering with and lots of them are doing it in silence.

10 Things my father taught me that shape me

Hello all,

First and foremost HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2017 Let's be having ya..

I hope everyone had a lovely time during the Christmas period, and now that the routines have kicked back in, I am back at work as are quite a few others, I can not wait to start blogging again. The other day I was in a Twitter blogger chat and I was talking to a girl called Hazel who blogs over at Musings of the incomplete quitter, (please go and check out her blog) we were talking about the type of posts we enjoyed doing and such things, and then she told me about one post that she had written, I went over to her blog and gave it a read and it really inspired me, naturally I told her and said I too wanted to do a post like it and she told me to go for it and so without further ado...I now name this post..
