Nails of the day - Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Huckleberry

Hey guys,
Ive had such a busy last few weeks that its been near impossible to try and update over on the blog. These last two weeks have been filled with lots of hectic work schedules as well as lots of nights and days out with a pretty amazing bunch of people.

I am back today with a little "Nail of the day" post, and i don't usually do them, mostly, because i get my nails done in the nail shops and the colour that i choose is usually there in the shop and i don't have it to photograph it nor do i ever ask the name of the shade etc, i just sorta get it done quickly! So doing a nail post seems pointless to me if i cant give you the details to the actual product I'm wearing.

However, on my last trip i took my own shade and asked them to use that and so here i am today with a post that i can give full information for you! :)

The shade that i am in love with, is from the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Spring 2014 Collection. There are three different shades so there is no reason to not have the whole collection. I only have this one at the moment but i can not wait to get my hands on the other two.

The other two shades are Sugar Apple, which is a slight turquoise/mint colour and Rose Hip which is a slightly dusty pink. The shade i am wearing is Huckleberry (Although the label on the bottle says Huckleburry, I'm sure that's a typo).

It is a light baby blue, that requires two even coats overall, you could go for the third but two is more then enough and its how many i have on in the photos. Like with all the Gelly Polishes you don't really need a top coat as they are shiny enough without, although my nails did get a top coat applied as well as some silver glitter for the tips.

I defiantly thing Huckleberry is my favourite of the three shades, and its perfect for the Spring time months, but because there is only two more to add to the collection and they are fairly cheap i cant resist buying the other two shades.

Something tells me this collection will do really well this season, the colours are all wearable, Barry M has a good reputation for not chipping and the Gelly polishes don't even require a top coat, i have a feeling these will sell really well!

Have you tried any Gelly polishes? and do you have the new Barry M Spring Collection ones yet?

You can buy these nail polishes from Boots and Superdrug.

Don't forget to follow me on..
