Scarlett's Blogger Lunch Meet Up

Hello all,

I'm hoping everyone is okay, and has been enjoying some sort of Easter break, even if it was short.

Today i want to post about a little get together that happened on the 30th of March. Scarlett from Scarlett London was planning a Bloggers meet up Lunch in B-Soho in London, she announced it out on twitter and also wrote a post on it asking who would like to come. I have never been to a meet up of any sort with any other bloggers, and i had all sorts of nerves going through me like, "what if there are awkward silences between us", or "what if they don't like me?" etc. At the same time, i knew it was something i would kick myself if i turned it down, so i emailed over my details to Scarlett and waited for a reply. She got back to me and said that my name was down on the guest list and she also emailed me over a copy of the set menu for the day and the little invite.

I was excited at this point, the nerves sort of fizzled away and i got excited thinking about what to wear and what we would chat about over some Prosecco.

On the day of the meet up itself  i had fear kick me right back into place, and i almost thought about just saying "Nope, cant make it", but then i knew how hard Scarlett had worked, and how much effort she had put into it all to make it perfect and by NOT turning up, i was not only, going to regret it later on but i would also feel so guilty as i would have ruined Scarlett's day a little, so i put on my outfit and off i went to meet everyone.

B-Soho is a Cocktail Bar and Pizzeria Restaurant, I loved the look of it straight from the outside, (even though, i did get lost on the way there, and end up outside a Brazilian Bar?!, yeah no idea either).
When you first go in, there is a little seating area that looked really comfortable, but our meet up was happening in a downstairs area away from everyone else.
When i got taken down stairs, the first thing i took in was the look and feel of the place, it had wooden logs on the walls, and high beams, it was so comfy and the lighting was beautiful, it totally set the mood for an afternoon of Pizza lunch with the blogging girls.

Once the initial look of the place had sunk in, then i was able to introduce myself to the girls that were already there. I had a glass of Prosecco and then we all sat down ready to order our favourite pizzas.
I settled for the very original Margherita, and it was delicious. I was served with a MASSIVE pizza, as big as the ones you would happily pay for in Pizza Express. It was so delicious.
When the pizza finished, the wine flowed and it was a chance for all of us to chat a little more and get to know one another better, i could not have asked for better topics then what i got with these lovely ladies. All the gossip from that one Saturday Afternoon is still buried in my head, and i am still trying to wrap my head around a lot of it. ;) HAHA

The girls were all lovely, and i got to meet some really interesting people who i really enjoyed spending the afternoon with and discussing the same interests as mine including "What festivals people are attending this summer and which one is best suited for me". I'm still going with Coachella :).

As the afternoon came to an end and as the wine finished up, it was soon time to leave and Scarlett plus the lovely Sinead and Lucy from Red Consultancy made up some amazing goody bags for us to take home. We were really spoilt with them, with even having double of certain products to give out. (I shall be doing a separate post on my goodie bags and the goodies i received inside.)
Overall, it was such a great afternoon, i made some new friends, i made new contacts in the PR industry, i gossipped, drank wine, laughed, ate delicious food, and spent a brilliant afternoon in some great company. I can not thank Scarlett enough, it was my first bloggers meet up and i would defiantly recommend it to all, even if you are feeling a little uneasy and a little nervous, please don't back out. Stick to it, you will enjoy yourself and make some brilliant new friends. Thank you again Scarlett for all your hard work, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I would also recommend B-Soho if your in the London Area and fancy some Pizza! :)
