Cinque Terre & Pisa

Hello lovelies,
I thought i would share my second and last post about my holiday to Italy. As i mentioned on my last Italy post i had a chance to visit the Cinque Terre and Pisa while i was there,  so i of course took loads of photos and thought i would share some of them on here with you all.

There are some places in this world that photos just don't do them enough justice and i think the Cinque Terre is defiantly one of those places. No amount of photos that i captured could quite explain the beauty that is the five little fishing villages on the sea front. I did the whole experience in one day, and every stop i had took my breath away more and more. I was mesmerised, but no amount of photos could quite capture the beauty of it. I think you will see what i mean...

The Cinque Terre is made of Monterosso al mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Each different and unique and each offers different things. If you have ever been to them you will know it takes a lot of walking to get from each place, we were kind of lazy and just jumped on the Metro to each destination as it was one after the other but if you do fancy a hike, take comfortable shoes and be prepared as it is a bit of a walk around the coast. As you can see no amount of photos i took could quite capture the sheer beauty of it, i truly think its one of those things you have to witness for yourself, only then will you discover the true beauty of the Italian coast.

I also visited Pisa for a day which was on my bucket list that i wanted to tick off for the longest time. If you fancy a look inside the tower i would suggest pre booking tickets as the queues are insane.. a little bit like when i went to Rome. Madness and full of tourists. Overall, Pisa is a quick stop which should only take you a short time, i do still suggest it as there is nothing quite like being in front of the tower and feeling like it is collapsing on you.

That's my two posts on Italy, look out for my post about my summer in Portugal which should be up soon.

Have you ever been to Italy? where would you recommend going, my next stop on the bucket list is Venice.

  1. Looks like you had an amazing time! Have you heard of Amalfi? It is a beautiful little hidden treasure in Italy that I think you'd love!
