KIKO Make Up remover review

Hello all,
KIKO have been a brand that i have brought a few products from before, their nail polishes as well as their lipsticks all appeal to me because of the variety of shades they stock. The first time i entered the shop, the sales assistant was kind enough to show me some bits around and explain all about KIKO as a brand as i had never heard of it before, she also showed me one of their most popular products, their Make up remover. She swatched loads of different make up pieces on my arm and hand, from eyeshadows, lipsticks, lips glosses, foundation, eye liner and even mascara, then using a cotton pad she plopped a small amount of the remover on it and in 2 instant strokes my arm and hand was clear! Of course this shocked me, as sometimes removing mascara for me is a nightmare (if like me, you like lots of coats on top of one another..panda eyes happens alot). What shocked me was the force in which she used to sweep it across my hand and arm, hardly any. So i asked her to explain a little more about it.

She went on to tell me that its a 2 layer product, as you can see from the photo above, theres the blue liquid and then a clear liquid, she advised that you shake the bottle before using it and as you do both mixtures mix together into one. I have very oily skin, especially my T-zone, so my first questions was"Is it good for my skin type and is it an oily formula?" she told me the clear mixture you see is an oily formula, but she told me once i mixed it together i wouldn't be able to feel very much oil on the skin and she told me to try it out, and see how i felt after. Normally i would NOT buy this product, i have oily skin i don't need an oily product to add to my already growing problem, but after seeing the effects of it earlier on my hand and arm i thought why not. So i brought one and took it home to try.

When mixed together, and then plopped onto the cotton pad, it was just a blue mixture that poured out, i could instantly feel the oily-ness, but none the less i brought it, therefore i must try it. My biggest fear for more than anything was "What if I'm allergic? or what if it breaks me out all over?"

I needn't have worried, a few swift motions and the clear cotton pad turned disgustingly dirty with the contents of my face, and my face was left feeling, a little oily (BUT, and i must stress this, the oily feeling lasted about 5 minutes, if even that) then my face returned to the normal dewy feeling i have. My face was fully clear, even after i did have 3 coats of mascara and black eyeliner on. What i do recommend is that after you have done that to make sure you cleanse your skin, (Which I'm sure all of you do anyway) just to make sure your face is fully dirt and make up free before bed!

My face didn't break out into anything, i didn't have an allergic reaction to anything, my face felt clean and fresh, the oily feeling leaving me after 5 minutes and best of all i had found a make up remover that doesn't even require that much force or effort to remove even the hardest of make up. (Yes, I'm aware I'm just being lazy.. LOL)

Would i recommend this? Yes. I'm on my 3rd bottle already! :) I don't know if it will work for all skin types, but i know it works for me, and i know i was brought on a sales assistant removing make up from my hand and arm but I'm so glad i did purchase it.

If you want to try it, head on over to KIKO online and see if it works for you too.

Have you tried any KIKO products? what make up remover do you swear by?!
Ana X
